Here is my first attempt at building a LEGO replica of the PHOENIX FOUNDATION building.

It's small in size because these are the pieces I had on hand.

Nope. Without those same people who walk by each time in the stock footage shot, it doesn't look like the Phoenix building at all.

I have this posted in a different thread but wanted to post it here in order to keep my MacGyver themed Lego creations in one place.

All of my custom LEGO minifigures are "kit bashed" from either different sets or from the LEGO store where you can create three minifigures for $9.99 + tax.

MacGyver's torso is actually the torso of the Series 2 Mime minifigure and his legs are from the Series 8 DJ minifigure. Peter's body is from one of the CITY sets. Jack is made up of generic pieces that have been featured in many different sets.

There's an awesome LEGO site, www.brinklink.com where you can buy individual pieces for much cheaper than you can on the official LEGO site.

There are some adult LEGO collectors that design and print stickers to place on the minifigures bodies, helmets, etc. I don't do that. I leave the minifigure pieces as they are, with the exception my mono-colored collection, some of which are pictured below.

I use Brasso and a soft paper towel to rub off the design printed on the torso, legs, arms, head, etc. It takes some doing but it works and the plastic doesn't show any signs of scratching or fading so long as a soft cloth is used.

With convincing pieces that good, it would have to be you to kickstart the MacGyver Lego campaign!

And with the upcoming game too, it's almost like Mac is back!

I have a couple other sets in the works right now. Just waiting on some pieces to arrive. I'll post pictures as soon as they're done.

Houseboat, we need houseboat. Houseboat, Jack's plane, the jeep and some sort of action scene setup, like.... I dunno, escape from something or another.

I really wish I could afford some legos right now, all I have is a little ghost guy and couple other pieces.

I've been thinking how best to do Mac's House Boat / Float Home. Whether to do an interior set, like Pete's Office, or simply build an exterior only version, like the small Phoenix Foundation. The one hang up I have is that some of the angles of Mac's place may be hard to replicate. I'll keep on it.

A new, small MacGyver minifigure set will be posted later tonight (thursday) or tomorrow morning (friday). It was inspired by one of the opening credit scenes taken from one of season one's episodes.

Slight delay. I'll have a picture posted by this afternoon (friday). I'm at work right now and was going to take and post a picture but decided to change the head on the minifigure, which is at home. The head, not the minifigure.
