Endoscopy went well. Unfortunately it took THREE TRIES to get that stupid I.V. in DX. You don't know true pain until you've had someone stuff a needle in your arm and jerk it around to try to find blood. Three times

Didn't find anything wrong with the scope, but won't get the biopsy results in for another couple of days.

I was feeling dizzy and tipsy after the drugs wore off, so the nurse said I could get a wheelchair if needed. By the time they were able to offer me one, I was feeling steady, but I kept that to myself so I could get a ride XD

Yeah, we're perfectly aware of that. XD

Glad to hear the endoscopy went okay. I've never ridden in a wheelchair, but I used to push my Mom around in one when we went to Disney World. She hated it. She often referred to it as Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

My sister took me shopping yesterday. It was like old times. Went to the city and went to the Mall. Did the whole movie, shopping and dinner thing. It was fantastic! I needed to get out of town for a day. Went a little nuts at Bath & Body Works and Victoria's Secret though... lol Finally got to check out a Hot Topic. A lot of my friends love that place.

Just a quick note. My pc is acting up lately. Constantly falling out. Now it works hardly 40 minutes before it goes out by itself. It's been doing that for at least the past six months once every four weeks but now it's more times a day and I heard a rattling noise too, so I think the fan might be broken too. I think it's time for a replacement. I have it 5 years now and I never had any problems with it. I don't know how or when yet but I might be gone for a little while during replacements. It's just bad timing, that it has to happen now during the holidays. But that's the way the cookie crumbles, I guess. I'll just post this now, before it goes out again. I'll try checking in once and while until I have found a replacement. Meantime, enjoy your holidays.

I did a quick google search and if it's shutting off by itself, then it sounds like an overheating power supply due to a malfunctioning fan. You said you hear rattling, so my uneducated guess would be the fan is causing the issue.

I'm not a tech, but I've had a LOT of computer issues over the years. Usually it's my harddrive.

Guess I'll have to. It's just such bad timing during the holidays. Then again it's a nice Christmas gift to myself but a little expensive right now. Maybe I should wait and see until after New Year's when the winter discounts starts.

Update: So I took the computer to the store, though I had my mind set on buying a new one. Due to the holidays and lack of money, it took me a while. When I finally got it the store, the guy told me he would figure out the problem first, before I would buy something expensive. I got it back today, it turns out the problem was caused by dust. So they cleaned it out and did several test runs. It didn't fall out anymore. So I got it home and has been running so far. I guess I'll see how it goes.

Glad to hear it was only dust. Nice that the guy did not try to sell you a new one, but that wanted to figure out what was wrong with it.

It's been standing on the exact same spot for the past three years now, so I say dust is a given. It runs, that's what matters.

I just realized that today it's been 15 years since I made my account here.

I was 17 in 2004 when I registered. Can believe it's been 15 years. It was after school that I registered myself. 15 years that's twice the entire run of the show and I'm still here. That's high school, my first fulltime job, nearly all the years I spent in the youth house and at least 4 computers ago. This also was the first place where I could go loose with my fanfiction stories. Finally a place where I could share my stories. At the age of 17 it was very welcoming.

15 years. 2 more years and I'm spending half my life here. Another forum I was on went offline last year after also nearly 15 years, but I left there two years ago because the atmosphere was downright negative all the time. I only went to look for it after I was gone a year but it finally was decided to take it offline.

Here we go for hopefully another 15 years.

I've been on for a year, but I didn't notice until almost a week too late

Well, actually this calls for a celebration because I think the forum and site were made only two months before I showed up so this is actually the 15th anniversary of the site and forum.

Though I have always been around, I wasn't posting every day, this place was sometimes more dead then it was alive. At one point you just think you've discussed about everything there is. The reboot brought it more back to life as well.

Almost everyone that was around here in the beginning is gone, except me. Beachhead, Sonyab, Amy, MacSheep, they're all long gone.

Sometimes indeed real life stuff gets in between, though it never got me away from the forums despite having some difficult years myself.

Even though I wasn't around then, I read enough old posts to know who they are. I miss them

It's been fun reading through the old topics. It's interesting. I have a lot of real life things going on, too. A few minutes a day doesn't hurt. Back to backing boxes to send to my friends and family in Venezuela.
