I had a while ago favorite tv series called Inspector Lewis (2007 - ) which was spin off from Inspector Morse (1987-2000). I think they are still producing it, but those latest new episodes stopped airing here in end of 2014. But I still recommend that series.
You know in start of the episodes there happend always crime and they never showed the guilty as usual, but what make it favorite was, because any other crime series what I've had watched with same kind of opening style, it was always very hard to figure out by those clues who was guilty, but somehow Lewis series was very easy. It wasn't just easy, but when you listened very carefully all those peoples, It was very easy put those peaces together and think who was guilty.
When those Inspectors interviewed those characters, there was also some phrases what gave a clear clue, like in MacGyver. In Odd Triple episode the woman says on the plane: "Oh, I shall probably go into my wine cellar and choose a bottle of truly exceptional champagne" so Mac figured where she did go.
And in Lewis they chatted with some women and one phrase get stucked into my mind: "Playing with monkeys" so that explained that the weird guy who they earlier chatted with in hospital was the guilty one because he spent time teaching monkeys.

"Colorado river kayak race, you and me shooting the rapids"
