Anyone see anything at E3 they're interested in? The Prey reboot looks cool. Never played the original though.

I'm sure that the only reason you liked that Prey trailer was because he made so many cups of coffee.
Never really saw any games but i did notice that they will be releasing Fallout 4 on the HTC Vive in 2017.

Speaking of anniversaries, this week mark the 25th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog!

So it isnt quite confirmed but I have been giving it a thought about "Maybe" selling my 360 later this year and somewhat trading it in for an Xbox One S. Comes with 4K support, 2 TB hard drive and it stands vertically! Woopee!

So we'll see...

Nice! If Gamestop is willing to let me trade in my current Xbox One for the Xbox One S, I might get one as well. I remember how excited I was when Microscoft redesigned the Xbox 360... that meant, no more overheating or the Red Ring of Death!

My only issue with the Xbox One is that you can't play offline with it. If you don't have it hooked up to the internet, it's useless.

I'm currently replaying Fallout: New Vegas, which just became backwards compatible. I had it digitally, so I was able to just download it. Boy was I happy!!!

I also downloaded Fallout Shelter for my phone (it's free!)... and that's addicting as well.

And wow, Capcom sure stepped up their game (literally). Resident Evil 7 really looks good... apparently the CEO of Capcom was so upset that Silent Hill was canceled that they did their own version. Doesn't Xbox One have an offline mode in the home section?

Naturally this only works on disc owned games and not digital content. But it's there. My only fear is the price of the One S. I will have to wait and see how much they plan on killing me with the cost before i take the plunge.

I came this close to buying a laptop yesterday as they had a one day special which was too good to be true! But it was true!!!
I kept the faith by holding back knowing i might get an Xbox One later this year. That being said, should the price of the One S be a phenomenal hike over the last one, I might just consider buying the original One model. I suspect their prices will drop so it would make sense.

Anybody a fan of Pokemon? They launched the new Pokemon Go mobile game this week in selected countries (Australia & US) and you can use your camera in the real world to catch Pokemon!!! Gotta catch em all!

Oops, it's definitly been a while since I posted in here... I believe there is an offline mode, but I could never figure it out. Anytime I tried to use it, I couldn't play. *shrugs*

Everyone I know has been playing Pokemon Go... except for me! XD I see a lot of kids now walking up and down the street from my office window. I'm not a super fan or anything, but I used to watch the cartoon back in the day.

I've been playing Fallout Shelter lately... it was originally a free mobile game, but they just released it for PC, still for free! I actually really like it.

Time lately is against me. I did however manage to play a bit more of L.A. Noire on Friday night but i gotta say its quite a dark game. Disturbing crimes indeed. Definitely for adults only.

So not much in the world of gaming, its been pretty busy for me lately but i did manage to finally buy an Apple TV set top box on Friday which i'm slowly getting into. Its very cool to use to access internet TV as opposed to the somewhat archaic X-Box. I love the Airplay feature which i just used as a test and airplayed my Tomb Raider & Radiation Island to the big screen and wow! That was SO cool! Then i started going retro and played the classic Gauntlet & Bubble Bobble on my TV too. (Yes, i have been deprived). But its loads of fun.

My hope is to eventually move everything in my apartment to wireless. I can't afford WiFi yet, and I think that may be restricting the quality of my streams... I'm not really sure. But, I'm hoping to stream Fallout 4 gameplay either tomorrow or this weekend since the new DLC was just released. It's gonna be fun because there's another vault to explore, and I think you get to build it? I'm not sure yet... I'm excited to find out though! Heeheehee

I was a bit disappointed with Vault-Tec Workshop. Great idea, but I found it confusing and really frustrating trying to get everything together and working. I've spent several hours cleaning up the HUGE area underground, fighting tons of high level enemies. I'm not really sure what the purpose is with all the space, but meh...

I started playing Overwatch, which a couple of my friends got for me. It's fun, but pretty much the same thing over and over again. Widowmaker is my favorite at the moment. I'm terrible at this game, so I can just kinda sit in a corner high up and snipe other players... and poorly.

On the 30th, Nuka-World will be out, and so will Resident Evil 4 Remaster. I'm not sure which one to play first... any ideas???

Well Jedi, knowing your obsession with the Resident Evil series, i'd say start with that.

Yeah, I was thinking about doing that as well since I'm getting a bit burnt out on Fallout 4. I've been playing that game almost non-stop since last year. XD

Haven't played a game in two months now. I still plan on playing the entire Tomb Raider series, minus Angel of Darkness than but there's plenty of adventure left to be had. But ever since I read Nintendo and Sega Mega Drive consoles was going to be rereleased with pre-installed games, I intend to give my gaming hobby a new direction. Now of course hoping that other consoles would follow that example. That would make my gamer's dream come true. Especially Sega Masters System II, PS1, PS2, Xbox and Xbox360. This retro gaming is becoming really popular.

So after having a look at my best friend's new gameroom, I think I finally know which way to go. I don't live that big so I figured why not make the apartment a little more gameroom-like? There for no big expensive things have to happen. It's just a matter of puzzling and creating space. Though I see the idea of a gameroom big, but I'm not going to drag up a pinball machine up the stairs, even if I live on the first floor. That's for later in life and if I ever have a cellar or something like that. I think I'm going to stick with consoles for a while and see where we get from there. In the meantime I looked at pictures of gamerooms and I also found this guy on YouTube called Metal Jesus. This guy has a collection of 5000 videogames alone. His channel is worth to have a look at. He has like everything on every console ever.

So I also decided from now on to look on the worlds of movies, comics, books, games and pinball machines as one big world. In one way or the other it all runs into each other with perhaps comics as the best example: they have movies, comics, maybe novelizations, games and pinball machines. Actually an even better example would be Indiana Jones. He has movies, comics, books, games and two pinball machines.

I think there's a good future in that or at least a good investment.

In the mean time, I streamed a free game I got called Unravel a couple of weeks ago. It's awfully cute. I'll be streaming a lot this week, or at least this weekend... depending on how my week goes. But I'm gonna try to stream some Resident Evil 4 tomorrow evening. Possibly with voice... not sure yet. Usually there's no reason for me to talk, so I just don't.

I know I won't get RE4 done quickly, as I'm a bit rusty at the game... but I'm excited to see the remastered graphics. I'll be streaming Nuka-World as well, with a tour of my "vault" house. And maybe some streaming of the new Black Ops 3 maps that I just got. I'll be busy. :3

I've been streaming when I can with Resident Evil 4. But, I'm starting to think streaming with my first run through was a bad idea. I'm dying... a lot. The controls are a little different from Fallout 4, so I'm a bit stuck on Fallout 4 controls. Meh...

Speaking of, Nuka World is amazing! I'm doing the "bad guy" play through right now, and I just finished it, so I'm going back to play the "good guy" play through. It is really cool though because you can see where they've gotten a lot of influence from Hershey Park and Disney World.

Due to my visit to the Amsterdam comic con I rediscovered my interest in old games. Lately everything that is retro tickles my interests. So I took out the old Game Boy. I played Dr. Mario in the last few weeks which I finished or at least as far as I thought so but at level 21 there seemed to be as many germs as in level 20. It probably goes on forever. Now I'm trying to beat Alleyway. I got to level 18 so far. Only problem is you got to be able to beat the game in one sitting. So you always have to start over and over again when you restart or go game over.

Anyone remember these?


Old gamebooks of the 80's. I used to buy these quite religiously back in the day and loved playing them.

For those of you that dont know, gamebooks were a great alternative to video games. You would read a story but ultimately choose your own fate by making a choice and turning to the corresponding chapter. You even had a scorecard whereby if you found items you could keep track of them and fight enemies by use of a dice. If you played it according to the rules (Without cheating) it was quite a lot of fun.

These are now slowly becoming digital and you can buy them from the App store / Android store. Nice thing about the digital ones is the addition of color images, background music and its a lot easier to control. Automatically stores your items and there's a digital dice etc...

Never heard of them. We did buy magazines called PC-Gameplay and PC-Zone. Where they discussed up and coming games. These date back from the late 90's to the early 2000's.

I don't think I had any of those in the 80's. We had an Atari, and TONS of games to go with it. I also had a lot of those handheld tiger games as well... like Jurassic Park and Home Alone 2, and a bunch of Disney ones in the early 90's.

Anyone remember interactive board games that came with a VHS tape? XD I had a Star Trek Next Generation one that we NEVER played. I dunno what happened to it though.
