Oh yes. I remember your houseboat in Sims. It was very good. Rust looks interesting. And yes, looks a lot like Fallout.

I managed to play a little Wolfenstein which was quite good. The reviews for this one were meh but i though it was okay. It is quite a challenging game though and when you fail to reach a certain objective, you have to redo the entire level is makes it a little frustrating.

Well, after a little frustration and level skipping I managed to get back in the City of the Dead level and play through levels 21, 22, 23. So now I'm where I'm supposed to be in level 24. I'm back on track. Yet, I did had to delete my previous game but now I simply cheated as compensation for my loss so I have all the weapons, ammunition, health packs and artefacts I need. I can continue playing but I'm going to have new statistics in the end.

Looks like youre near the end then. I'm proud to say i didn't use any cheats to finish any Tomb Raiders.

I actually had a little time to play some Wolfenstein last night and i am really enjoying it. Far better than i though it would be. I managed to pass the level too. What i like about it is how you can strategize multiple possibilities to get through any given level. Although the game is linear in the fact that you need to get from A to B, you can do it in mire than one way. And playing it safe is key in this game.

My son has had an obsession playing Skylanders so he has been begging me to play it. He absolutely loves the game.

I actually played the previous three games which were all games I once started but hardly ever finished so I started them from the beginning without deleting and if it happened I had all the weapons and health packs, well... Also one of the rules I played by was to switch weapons in every level. This time however I ever I played by the book and I ended without health packs and health as a result. The downside also is that in Last Revelation you can't go back to previous levels as in the earlier games when you had the passport with a list of levels. So I think my cheating is justified. I've been playing for a month now, just as with the third game and I'm still not finished. It's definitely going to take longer, (thanks to my setback no doubt) but I'll try to catch up on some playing. I'm finally out of Cairo and I'm in the rooms underneath the Sphinx of Giza.

Well, FF14 has taken over my life now.

My one friend loves this game so much, I'm pretty sure his obsession is worse than my MacGyver obsession. I don't think he realizes the monster he's creating. lol

The last time I played an original Tomb Raider game was at my brother in law's house many moons ago when he was still dating my sister. I just remember running around Lara Croft's mansion, and being nosy. XD I have no idea which one that was though...

I think Croft Mansion appears in the first 3 so it might have been any of those. I loved the original games. There is something ominous about the first for me though. It was the game that brought me back to the gaming world and i spent hours on it. I have it on my smartphone but theres nothing quite likre playing it on a Playstation.

I've always played games... since I was a kid. We had an Atari in the 80's, and did PC gaming in the 90's. I got into console gaming in 1999 with Jedi Power Battles. Then got into M-rated games with Resident Evil in 2002. My first online game was Gears of War on the Xbox 360 in 2007, and the rest is history. XD

My Mom was actually pretty good at video games. I gave her Resident Evil 4 and she did better on her first try than I did. XD

Croft Mansion does appear in the first three games, the fifth one too I think but not as playable level and in Legend it's playable again, I think, I don't know about Underworld though. In the Rise of Tomb Raider it's again playable.

It pretty much also went like you Jedi. We used to have Sega Master System in the early 90's, gameboy and PC-gaming came along, PS1, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3. I bought a Sega Mega Drive last year, or earlier this year. I think those combo's of earlier systems rereleased with a bunch of games installed is a great idea. Currently PS4 is still a little over a budget. But I still have plenty of games left to play, about 15 and a couple of replays perhaps, before I would start considering buying PS4.

Haha! They are! Atari is coming out with a console called the Ataribox. I don't know when it's coming out though. I'm keeping an eye on it to see how it's going to turn out. I've somewhat sworn myself off consoles and I'm trying to move to PC since all my friends are into PC gaming now.

It does look pretty cool though!

The only problem with the Ataribox is that they haven't revealed what it is yet. So they are getting a lot of criticism

Yeah, I've seen that. There are a lot of rumors surrounding it, but I've learned to take those rumors with a grain of salt. Though I do hope to be able to play the older games. I still have the old Atari set and all the games... it just doesn't work due to a short in the power cord (I think). lol

I still have the Atari Flashback 1 & 2 in minty mint condition. Put them in rarely but doubt the Ataribox will offer more than that however from what i have heard, it will be able to play games old and new.

I'm sure we have had this discussion before but anyway...

So I have a PS1 (But it doesnt seem to go further than the loading screen), PS2, Xbox 360, Xbox One, A Nintendo and of course the Atari Flashbacks 1&2. Still have a Commodore 64 somewhere and an old ZX Spectrum 48K. My current PC's/laptops cant really support most new games as theyre way outdated. Still they miraculously run Windows 10.

I finally finished Tomb Raider Last Revelation. It took me five weeks. It was a great game but I'm not hot on backtracking through the levels though. And I had that setback in Cairo. I think the game would've been more accessible if it wasn't for the backtracking. Last final levels were great, there was no backtracking anymore, the game got ahead. They even used somewhat of the riddle of Die Hard With A Vengeance. You have 3 litre waterbag (which looked like Merlin's wine sack) and a 5 litre waterbag and you have to get to right amount of litres into the scales to open the grate in the floor or else be eaten by the monster from the holding cell. Now the question is did Lara die in Egypt? Right now, I don't care. This took me a little too long so I'm going to put gaming on hold for a while.

I have so many games to play right now, i cant but any more for a while. Now i just have to find the time to play them.

Needless to say i spent some more time playing Skylanders yesterday with my son and then i had a little time to play some ld school Gauntlet!

Games are so gosh darn expensive! I try to wait for deals or get games for free via XBL. They have that nifty Free With Gold thing. I got Bayonetta last month for free. I've played it before, never owned it though. It's a pretty fun game, made by the same folks that came up with Devil May Cry.

Also my friend and I managed to try the Minecraft cross platform beta. I played on my One, and he played on his tablet... at work. Yeah... XD That was interesting.

Basic, but different. Kinda buggy. We were going to play it some more this weekend, but plans kept falling through. Always next weekend... hopefully!
