Bayonetta looks cool. I like those anime / Manga titles.

It's fun... it plays a lot like Devil May Cry actually. Devil May Cry 3 is still one of my favorite games. It's so over the top, but it's so much fun.

I haven't been on my One that much though. Too busy with Sims 4 and trying out these expansions. I've started work on the Houseboat again, so if I'm able to finish it this weekend, I may have an update on it. biggrin.gif

Cool! I ent totally retro recently and bought a rehashed Famicom system. (China's version o the Nintendo) with approximately 650 games totalling.

It was fun to play some old classics again including the arcade version of Tetris (Love that Russian music!) biggrin.gif Super Mario, Ninja Turtles and loads more. Including the mega awesome Ninja Gaiden titles.

I LOVE Tetris! I used to have it on my old phone and would play it on lunch breaks. Between that and Corpse Party (which I had on my PSP), I drove my co-workers a little nuts. Which is okay because they thought I was weird anyway.

It's insane what people ask for Tetris games on flea markets. Must be like the most popular game on Nintendo.

Tetris is definitely a classic. I would have played some more on the weekend but my Wi-Fi was accidentally turned on resulting in my X1 running a 20GB update for Halo. When i realized and turned it off it did not want to let me play the game until i ran the update. So with the fear that my save would be lost i uninstalled and reinstalled and thankfully it was still there but no time to play. dry.gif

On another note, Capcom have sliced their price on the mobile version of Street Fighter IV Champion Edition to just $2. So needless to say i decided to bite and its quite cool.

Although there are a lot of extras that this game comes packed with I still feel that Ex Plus Alpha was superior. Still if you want a decent fighter and have 2 dollars lying around, this ones for keeps. thumbup.gif

I didn't like that game at all. Last time I played it, I didn't even finish. It's not smooth in gameplay and looks the same as it did in the 90's. By now they should be able to use the entire environment, break through stuff, fall down into depth and continue the fight there. SF is still about going to left and right until you can't go any further.

Yesterday, it was the yearly flea market in town. I finally found Need For Speed III on PS1. I know I didn't like the Hot Pursuit for PS3 but this is nostalgia. I also found Carmageddon and Alone In The Dark The New Nightmare, all in PS1. All three of them I once had on the PC but I don't think latest windows would play them so. This is just all the more convenient. Never thought I would buy 3 PS1 games again. Though I'm glad I found them, I'm still recovering from my last Tomb Raider adventure so, I'm going to put them on the shelf for a while.

I also bought Tom Clancy's End War for PS3. It screamed World War II all over me but this one is actually supposed to be World War III in the near future with battlefields in Washington D.C., Paris and Moscow. It's 2020 and the economical and civilian order is disturbed because of an energy crisis that refuels the arms race between the US, Russia and Europe and will eventually lead to World War III. I don't know if it's any good because I never heard of the game.

There is no denying that modern fighters of today should embrace 3D and interact with their backgrounds. Hence my comment about the step back from Ex Plus Alpha however this was the mobile edition and for a mobile game its good. Especially if you are a retro gamer. Also Street Fighter IV Champion Edition is just a rehashed version of the original game that was released almost 10 years ago in 2008.

Coincidentally before Street Fighter 2 was released a company called Tiertex licensed the fighter from Capcom and made a game which was officially known at that time as the sequel to Street Fighter. It was called Human Killing Machine or HKM.

Not many remember this game but it was very good and scored well in reviews. I even enjoyed Street fighter 1 but there has not been much of an attempt at reviving this title.

Now, that I'm back in Titanic mode, I found out there's a new game coming out next year. They've been working on it for the past two years now and these are the current results.

Wow, the graphics are amazing in this game. I'll have to keep my eye on that one. Though, if it's just on PC, I know my laptop can't handle it.

It can't handle Rust on potato graphics. lol

Nice find though!

I haven't been playing much other than what I've already posted. I did check out the Bethesda Creation Club for Fallout 4. There wasn't a lot of content, but there were a couple of cool items. Nothing to really go nuts over though... especially since you have to pay for the items. But, it's okay. I'm hoping they'll add more to it.

Apparently it would be released on platforms as well. This seems to be confirmed three years ago. Yet there is no current release date, it is set for 2018.

Selling at a rather cheapish price mainly because of the fact that it serves more as an expansion than a sequel is

Bought this last week and started playing. Wow! This is a rather incredible game and is pure magic when comparing it to other similar first person shooters. Graphically its an achievement of realism. The Dishonored series is more stealth games as opposed to a direct shooter like Doom but they really have an incredible way about them. So glad my attention turned to this series as it truly is impressive. Death of the Outsider is highly recommended if youre into these sort of games.

On another note, i am still playing the Wolfenstein (360 version) which is great fun and hugely addictive! I still dont know why it failed to meet expectations because i think its great.

Lastly, i had a free download code for Forza Horizon 2. Another awesome game which takes the racing game we all know to new levels of fun. Whether it is racing to a party, helping out a friend drop off a few cars at a destination or being part of an exclusive race club.

Really enjoying Dishonored at the moment. Top game if you have never played it before. Amazing atmosphere and gameplay. thumbup.gif

And on another note all are insane at the moment with the release of Fifa 18. I have never really been a big fan of the Fifa games but it looks good. I actually have the Fifa 16 game which is fun to play.

I got a couple of free games from Xbox Live. One was Forza Motorsport 5, which I enjoy because I can free play Vipers. Those are always my favorite. Of course, I had to test drive all of them. The newer models are much easier to control than the older ones. Very realistic as far as how difficult the older models were hard to control.

Still fun though!

I also got a game called Gone Home, which is an exploration game with mild jump scares. It's not a supernatural horror game though. As you find notes and unlock areas, the more clear it becomes as to what is going on. I had heard it got pretty good reviews, but after games like Myst... it's kinda medicore, at best. I played it once, and have no plans on playing it again.

As of late, been back to Minecraft with a friend, now that the cross platform version of the game is now live. My friend has his own server as well, so I can jump into the world when he's not around and farm for things.

Back to Halo again and managed to get past an area i have been sitting in for ages. What a great game! I also picked up a copy of the web-series converted into a movie at a second hand store for like a Dollar. Called Halo - Forward Undo Dawn. Hope to check it out this weekend.

LOL! Friday the 13th was all over my Facebook last week. XD Mostly like... most brutal death compilations. Everyone has been getting into playing Overwatch. I was watching a couple of my friends play on Saturday. Sadly, they're on the PS4 and I have Overwatch on Xbox One. Boo!

There's been another free game released on XBL if you have Gold called The Turing Test. It's kinda like discount Portal, but it's kinda fun! I may try to do some game play tomorrow as I've only done the first chapter so far.

Another to add to my collection. Ordered this for next to nothing. I hear its not as good as some of the others but takes place during Resident Evil 2&3 which is cool.

Any thoughts?

Yeah... it's not that good. When you play it, you'll understand why. Capcom has been wanting a "piece of the Call of Duty pie", and this was their attempt at making a Call of Duty type Resident Evil game. Most of my friends weren't happy with it. In fact, I'm the only one who still owns a copy. It was kinda fun just because of the difference in gameplay and had some interesting moments... but besides that, it's not that great of a game.

Actually, it makes Resident Evil 5 & 6 look better in comparison... and those who know me know I am NOT a fan of RE 5 & 6. lol

You may enjoy it though, so the fact you got it dirt cheap should make it worth it a tad. You'll have to let me know what you think!

Thanks Jedi. Will do. Should hopefully pick it up on the weekend.

In other news, i played a little bit of The Thing on Saturday. Based on the the original movie of the same name, this takes place after the events of the movie when a team is sent out to find out what happened to the research team.

I have that game actually. Never finished it though. It's one of those games that I keep attempting to play, and then I stop... and I don't know why. I've been in a classic game mood lately. Mostly interested in playing the original Spyro games. I love those games.

Well to be honest i have never been into Assassins Creed. Not for any particular reason though other than i just never was part of the craze. Always wanted to get into it though. What i like about Origins is that its a prequel and tells the story of the birth of the brotherhood so its an excellent starting point.

I have to admit that this game has totally blown me away and i am completely immersed in it. The amount of detail in gameplay, graphics, music and atmosphere is out of this world and i feel like i am in ancient Egypt. Even Lara Croft cannot touch this.

If you love adventure you will LOVE Assassins Creed Origins. My honest opinion. A truly rare 5 stars!

The new trailer for Detroit: Become Human looks awesome.

I think the poison that was used was applied to this knife, passed to the mutton when it was cut and then activated by the wine. - MacGyver.

Well I’m officially broke. Well, not really. biggrin.gif

I folded and got my copy of Call of Duty WWII.

I’ve never really followed the Call of Duty series but there were a few hiccups over the weekend with Activision’s servers going offline. Played campaign mode and whoa! Starts off with you entering Normandy Beach on D-Day. Watching it on Saving Private Ryan was one thing but actually being there is a whole new experience. In all honesty I felt a little concerned over its morality judging by how many lives were lost on that day. But it’s very good and it’s visual experience is truly impressive. I’ll give this game a rock solid 4.5 stars.

And probably different than in Medal of Honor Allied Assault, no doubt. Or should I say hopefully? Back than it was like: wow, even though it's just on PC. But to have it on your television screen. What Battlefield 1 did was pretty amazing. They actually made World War I look cool even if that war seems a little outdated compared to World War II. Everything was in their early stages: planes, tanks, submarines...

Call of Duty World at War wasn't bad either, a little frustating though but I'd never forget that final level for the Battle of Berlin. Actually taking over the Reichstag. You get to end World War II by taking over the Reichstag and plant your flag on the roof.

I don't think you should be worried about morals here. Yes, millions have died and yes, the game is based on one of the most terrible wars in human history but I think games just as movies might be the right tool to get kids interested in history or the war if they're not interested in books. I don't think a lot of people would mind these games.
