Imagine you're dealing with similar situations as MacGyver and he has to do this or that can you see yourself doing the same thing?

I sorta came up with this after seeing The Lost Amadeus again as Mac is run over by Lulu. Despite she rambles on and on, she still offers you a ride. Would you get into the car with her even if she insists?

It's right now, the only situation I can come up with. If there are other feel free to discuss.

Hard to say, different people, different worlds. I wouldn't necessarily dress like him, live in a
houseboat like him, and I certainly wouldn't rock a mullet when working undercover. Would also avoid
the Lulus & Pennys of this world. But Mac has a much different mindset coupled with a made
for tv look, and a 'schooling' personality ..... so to speak. So it's all a bit helter skelter really in
a fun & entertaining kind of way.

I'm with Joe in that Mac was his own guy in a unique set of circumstances with his own experiences. I know that a lot of the situations he found himself in, especially in the DXS days, would have been alleviated had he operated under the cover of darkness. Just the same, I would have loved to have had his mindset and background, and been doing the things he did!

Joe summed it up but it would depend on the situation.

I would have carried a pistol. And probably joined Jack on more of his schemes.... er, adventures.

Jack would have been awesome to hang out with!

I'd do my best to avoid Penny on a scatty day, and I'd tell Jack 'No' and mean 'No'!

I wouldn't dare do some of the stuff Mac does, I'd like to have the nerve, but in the real world I'm afraid I don't. Jumping out of a plane would be a no no for a start!

Even with a parachute?

I have been raised to never to want to put a foot wrong. Consequently I have just thought of something I wouldn't have done. It is one that is discussed elsewhere on these forums. I would not have left the hotel whilst on jury service. I would also have not kept quiet whilst other jurors on the bus were discussing what they had been told not to, I would have told them with authority in my voice to end their conversation!

It depends on the situation. Of course, you won't catch me jumping out of planes either because I HATE heights. I'm not really a thrill seeker, and prefer to have my feet firmly planted on the ground. I'm probably more like Pete... haha!

As far as Penny and Lulu are concerned, they don't really bother me. I've always been the annoying one, so I suppose I can see a little bit of myself in them. But, really... I've dealt with some pretty nasty people in the past, so I can over-look most annoyances as long as they're good-natured.

I would definetley not get in the car with Lulu. I kind of like Penny, actualy. I definitely would have gone with Jack all the time. And I would have definitely left the hotel IF I could prove someones innocence. Jumping out of the plane , ehhh, Maybe. Definitley would carry gun.
