Stumbled across this one. Looks like it's a limited edition for the Japanese Beams brand, however I wonder if it hearkens a new Camper release just like the first Mac watch??? Hopefully!!

Well, this thread moved me to finally get a Camper watch! I picked one up from the site's store. I've always wanted one and my old Wenger is showing its years. I can hardly wait for it to get here!

In all honesty, looks just like the original. But for an added price. I'd personally get it from another retailer for MUCH cheaper. But if it is a limited edition, depending on what makes it limited other than its appearance, i assume some enthusiasts would jump hoops.

I was just thinking today how odd it is that Timex re-releases this vintage style Camper, Victorinox re-releases its Classic, and the show is getting a reboot all within about the same year

Thanks Perfectlykevin and I agree! All this vintage Mac stuff fresh for the new series! I love it....now if only I had room for Mac's Hockey game. I still wish Victorinox would make a MacGyver labeled knife...

whats the water resistance level of that watch?

....and is it a wind up or a battery powered?

If its anything like the original release, it is battery powered and is merely water resistant. Not water proof. I actually own an original that i wear to this day. (Granted, i only got it about 3 years ago. )

30 ft, so it's no diving watch and it's battery powered. I really would love to find a wind up....I can't imagine not having to change out batteries every so often! It really reminds me of some of the old WWII US Army watches, and is super light compared to my Wenger. This is my first new watch since I picked up that one in 1998.

One of the reasons i love it. Super light. There is literally no weight on this watch.
