How many more people do they think are gonna watch? This isn't 1983 and the finale of M*A*S*H*.

heck there no need for them to this ppl could watch on YouTube or the DVR.

You'd think they could have put it on a Saturday or on a weekday that had only reruns planned anyway; considering there's another break next week due to March Madness.

They shoud have bought the streaming rights for their new streaming service Paramount plus that just launched a week or two ago. But go figure, they didn't.

Is 07 the season finale?

I think it will be MAC509, airing as Episode 5x15.

But there's still no official news about the episode count this season. And if Blue Bloods really gets to film 16 episodes, they might put a few reruns in between (since they're behind an episode or two in airing) to end all shows on the same day.

Ominous how and for who?

For Blue Bloods. They never air at 9pm and considering they haven't announced a Summer replacement for the Friday slots so far, it wouldn't have mattered to end a week later.

The show is getting expensive. While the ratings are still good, it might get cancelled. A 2-hour-finale might serve to wrap up unfinished storylines...

I wanna say it's a good sign, especially for it's longevity, that she's added as a main.

A renewal after 4 seasons usually depends on getting a syndication deal so I hope they get one.

I think it has the potential for a few more seasons and I'd like to see where the new crew of showrunner and writers can take it if they don't have to deal with half a leftover season and storylines.
