Season Finale Plot, anyone?

They're not even trying to conceal the names either. XD

What Plankov should do is have so many easter eggs in every episode and challenge fans to find them. Maybe have some kind of incentive if they find them all.

In this case, though, it sounds like it's not really an easter egg, per se, but rather a reimagining of the Matt Weber we knew from the original series. (Kind of like how the name "Patricia Thornton" wasn't an easter egg.)

So maybe Thornton wasn't crooked, after all? If they're following the Matt Weber story from the original, it'll turn out that Matty is the crooked one.

Either way, it's kind of interesting that it now seems like a major overarching plot of this entire season is taken from the "Early Retirment" episode. It's not an episode I ever really think of that much, but I do remember once thinking that it seemed like the sort of story that should have been spread out over multiple episodes, rather than crammed into just one episode, so it's pretty cool that that's exactly what we're now getting.

That would be an awesome story line!

This is actually what I've been hoping for the Season Finale since Episode 12. But I think that might be a plot twist too much? Who knows...

I guess since they still don't know if the show is renewed or not, they will film a Finale that's not too open and "twisty" (in case there won't be a second season)...

When Mac and the team travel to Hawaii to aid in earthquake relief efforts, they team up with Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) and Kono (Grace Park) from the Five-0 task force to rescue a group of government scientists trapped in a building. I was very excited when I spotted her name two or three weeks ago listed on IMDb. But now I guess she won't have much to do

Looks like they're celebrating MacGyver's birthday so they had to get at least one of his other oldest friends (beside Bozer and Jack) onto the show...

Ah, yeah, you're right. She'll probably just be a guest at Mac's birthday party. Oh well.
Let's just hope this birthday episode is better than the one from the original series, which was just a bunch of flashbacks.
