Cool German train station.
I love the fact that they're really bringing an international aspect to this reboot. I kind of wish I was still young and naïve so I could believe they were really filming in all these other countries! (When I watched the original series, I actually used to think the entire cast and crew was traveling around the world. Keep in mind, I was MUCH younger! haha.)

I for a while thought that was really filmed in Frankfurt, because some of you mentioned German Train Station In that earlier post in another day, I read it was filmed in Atlanta City Hall Atrium, but somehow now when I saw that Frankfurt sign, I got cheated again

EXACTLY! I was just thinking of that same episode. I remember really liking the opening shot of the mountains and tramway, and thinking, "Wow, they're in Switzerland!"

It's embarrassing, though, that I still got tricked when I was much older, watching "Lost." Whenever they had flashbacks set in Australia, England, Korea, etc, I initially thought they were really filming in those locations. It wasn't until a bit later that I learned everything was filmed in Hawaii. I guess the set designers and location scouts really deserve a lot of credit on these shows.

I think sometimes stuff IS shot at foreign locations using second or third units (probably more for movies than for TV shows, though due to budgets reasons).

So if you're not a huge fan of a movie/show and doing some research or watching DVD extras and listening to the DVD commentaries, there's no chance to know what was actually shot there or not - even if it's supposed to be the country you live in.

Almost every scene that's supposed to be Zurich in a non-Swiss-movie is mostly shot in Budapest or Prague. I probably couldn't tell the difference, even though I live maybe 1,5 hours from Zurich by train. I rarely visit Zurich; mostly for a specific reasin (airport, main station, a museum or the university). The license plates and street signs are copied very well nowadays; so you could fool me pretty easily. Most often, I only realize it if I can see the road markings, crossroads (should be yellow, not white) or traffic lights.

Hmm.. I wonder if they're planning to recreate the classic scene from "Slow Death" where Mac runs alongside the train and jumps onto it.

we have that... my brother and I are practically on a Mac marathon except we have school too....... if i didn't have to go to school I'd be watching them till the sun comes up!!!!

There was something in the blink of the eye in the trailer that I had to check, and there it is!
