I woke up this morning to find a copy of the MacGyver graphic novel on my door step.

Immediately I opened it and read the 2 page introduction by Micheal Greenburg in which he fondly gives a brief run through of how the show was put together and how the team worked together. Sounds like they all had great fun making the show and I picked up a real sense of pride (and pleasure) from Micheal's writing.

The second surprise is The future of MacGyver section at the back where Lee Zlotoff talks about the new projects and his MacGyverGlobal site. Another very interesting read.

I'd say this book is a must have for any MacGyver fan.

Believe it or not, when I pre-ordered mine from Amazon, I got it on Saturday.

I LOVE the part when Michael talks about the voice overs with RDA and RDA jumped up and gave him a hug. XD I need to read the Future of MacGyver still. For some odd reason, I seem to have passed it over.

It's definitely a must have, even if you already have the separate comics. Totally worth it.

Definitely.

Here too. XD And if I don't get it for Christmas, I'm suggesting it to my library. Heck, I'll suggest it anywah, but I'll still be hoping for a copy of my own this Christmas.

There is one thing I noticed which I don't like about the novel. It doesn't have the electronic information shown on the blue pages at the start of each comic (emails, IRC chats etc) which help explain the story. We get the first email at the start of the novel, but not the subsequent ones.

Brought this yesterday and read it last night.

Really enjoyed the story. It does feel pretty much like a season 2-3 episode. However I don't like that they say MacGyver went to Cal Tech instead of Western Tech like in the show. I would have preferred that they stay true to the show rather than adding or changing things. But over all, I enjoyed this and hope there's more on the way.

Yup. Going to add this to my Christmas list too. Maybe the misses might get it for me.

I got this recently and liked it.

But I stumbled over this Facebook Post today... looks cool even without the colors.
