Saw the Victorinox Field Advertizing today from up above when I landed in Zurich in the afternoon.

I don't travel that much by airplane and the conditions are not always perfect to see it (you need to sit on the right side of the plane with a clear view without fog or clouds).

I wasn't quick enough to retrieve my camera to snap a picture. The logo didn't have any colors yet but brown, so I think they just started putting it together recently thanks to the warmer weather. The brown looked great in front of the green grass, though - and the logo was easily recognizable even without the colors.

Dash, those pics are phenomenal! I've been a Vic owner/user for almost 40 years and I had no idea they did this. Great landscaping!

I have to admit that I'm constantly surprised when MacGyver Online posts anything Victorinox related because there is practically no advertising in Switzerland. I've never seen any TV Spots or posters and stuff; they also don't do any event-sponsoring or the like.

It seems like most advertising is done for international markets in foreign countries, not in Switzerland. I live near the capital city, so of course you can buy the knives in every store that sells "touristy" stuff, but there's zero advertising in the city or a the train station.

I usually travel by train, so every time I travel by airplane and walk through the arrival gate, I'm totally shocked by all the Victorinox ads
