I think it's cool that they recycle their old props; even the trashy helicopters. (I recently noticed one of the crashed Earthquake-cars of the Crossover-Episode in another Episode of Hawaii Five-0).

He played Murdoc's son Cassian in Episode 2x04, but his scene had been cut out. (Meredith Eaton had actually talked about that scene in an interview; stating that this had been her favorite scene to film for the Second Season of the Reboot so far.)

Since they didn't use the material later, but filmed new scenes with him makes me think they changed the initial idea they had for Murdoc. Maybe they weren't sure back then they would actually get David back for several more episodes, and then decided to expand the storyline? Maybe they changed the storyline after realizing they will actually get Michael Des Barres as well?

Having rebooted Murdoc, Murdoc's son AND Original Murdoc in the same Episode makes me even more curious what role MDB will play.

No problem at all. I changed mine now so there will be no confusion (well, I'll probably still get confused since I'm so used to seeing Murdoc's burnt face next to my posts, but that's okay... it was time for a change anyway!)

I wonder if MDB will have a recurring role, or if it will just be a one shot thing? I also wonder if they'll put him in a situation where he gets to yell "MaacGyyyyyveerrrr!!!!" If I were writing the episode, I would find it really hard to resist doing that.

According to IMDb, MDB's last acting gig in a TV show was in 2014! So him coming back for this is really special, I think. I would love him to have a recurring role, but I guess it probably isn't. He seems to be really busy with his music. But who knows? I think the producers are very open to let him come back if he wants to.

Now that would be cool!

Since Bruce McGill is playing a detective, I doubt there's much opportunity to let his character show any traits of Original Dalton. But since they robbed us from rebooted Murdoc's MacGyver-yell, and MDB plays a villain, they should really give this to us now

The one with MDB was taken at Mailing Avenue Stageworks where the indoor sets are built up (e.g. MacGyver's home). I'm not sure if he has been filming or if it was just for the photo shoot (he posted pictures of him posing in a make-shift studio).

I smell a Press Release coming soon . They can try to hide it for a bit longer, but it's pretty clear that MDB will show up in the Reboot next year.

It's snowing today. I don't know how often it snows in Atlanta, but almost every cast and crew member on set at the moment is posting pictures and videos. Everyone seems to be excited. Well, most of them at least.

Hmm... I wonder if they might put a twist on it. Since it seems he might be chasing Murdoc, what if Murdoc gets the best of him and MDB ends up yelling "Murrrrrrdoooccccccc!!!!!" as he falls to his death?
(I'd prefer to hear him yell "MaaaccGyyyyverrrrr!" of course, but it would be kind of a surreal twist if he yelled "Murdoc" instead.)
