It looks like the actress, Levy Tran, was filming in the episode before Christmas break and Tristin posted a story that showed her on set as well today. I wonder if she is going to become a larger part of the show. Most guest stars don't appear in back to back episodes like she is doing.

Interesting to see...
Hm, interesting. Though she could be a Stand-In or photo double of course (wouldn't know for whom, though) or she could play one of the recurring Phoenix Lab Techs... or Matty's assistant?
I certainly wouldn't mind seeing some of the same techs and agents every know and then. I lamented about that in S1 and I was kinda happy they chose to have Jill as recurring character.

Good point, but the episode of 3x15 she appears in is titled K9 + Smuggler + New Recruit, so she could be the new recruit. Also, one of the action sequences you posted seems to show her in a fight scene.
Personally, I don't want them to go the way of Cage with adding a new character, which I am afraid is what is going to happen now that George left.

UGH..
Ah yes, now I remember the fight sequence. I scheduled those posts a few weeks ago for Twitter so I don't always remember what I've posted already or from what episode it was
I thought if she might be one of the stunt doubles but you're right, her appearing in the episode about a new recruit it could mean she actually IS the new recruit (somehow, I appointed that role to the dog they had on set for the episode).
It's clear they always wanted to add to the team. For one, it's a typical CBS move and it makes sense production-wise - you can divide the team in different combinations each episode and you still enough players for separate storylines. Secondly, you can allow for one of the team to get some "rest" and prepare for the next episode where he/she gets the spotlight. And if one is ill, you have still enough of the main cast to power through and not fall behind too much.
Why I would have loved for them to continue with the mission-core-team as it was in the beginning of S1 (Mac, Jack, Riley), it would have been too taxing for them to keep this pace and stay healthy. I remember Lucas asking for them to drop the voice-overs and to have a longer Christmas hiatus. It was just too much.
It's just a pity that they didn't really think it through right from the start and kinda screwed up the execution even when having good ideas. Instead of adding a new team member, they decided to make Bozer a new agent. That allowed them to show how he becomes an agent (since they didn't really do it with Riley), but they should have done that in the second half of the first Season, not in the 2nd season when he was already on dozens field missions.
Then, they added Cage - but not only did it seemed overly rushed and too aggressively shoved in, they also chose an actress that just isn't the same caliber as George or Lucas. (Don't get me wrong, both Isabel and Justin are total sweethearts but they just don't have the same acting range. And it shows.) Instead of trying to get Cage right, they decided to use Isabel less and less, letting her fizzle out and just disappear without having the storyline solved; leaving the fans behind with all these unanswered questions.
Same is happening with Reign as Leanna. She still doesn't seem to have much personality and they still don't use her as a regular after exaggerating her skills and making her another total-all-superwoman-badass-chick like Cage that can fight, shoot, interrogate and speak foreign languages.
It's kinda ironic that both field agents that could have replaced Jack didn't really work out as they could have - and it's all the writers and producers fault. If they add another female regular field agent, then I really hope they get it right this time. Though I guess 3 times is the charm?

Fans seem to be concerned with the potential for a loss of the bromance when George leaves so I wouldn't think adding a new female character is the way to go if they want to try and establish a new one. They have focused a lot on Riley as a stronger character so I would think she would take a more prominent role instead of potentially adding another female character. After all Bozer's character seems to be doing more tech stuff as well to help Riley.
