I'm in Atlanta on vacation till this weekend. I checked the shooting locations folder but I didn't see much up-to-date info. Are there any places you guys recommend in the area to sightsee?

I'm not from the US and I've never been to Atlanta. But I know they've filmed often on Stone Mountain, Downtown and in Piedmont Park. Also the historic Oakland Cemetery.

I know a group of MacGyver fans have visited the area for shooting locations but I'm not sure where they linger on social media...

Just curious, is there "main office" (the place where they usually discuss missions with all the screens and the chairs in the center and the big wondow) in Georgia? And if so where?

I'm new here so i don't know how things are done. Is there like a particular reason the uploads are weeks behind when they get here?

I think the main office is at the stage where MacGyver's house is set (Mailing Avenue Stageworks), but I'm sure the area is not open to the public...

They do some ADR there as well...

Important thing is to keep your eyes open for the yellow filming signs (EYE) and bring back photos in here

If you're talking about my compilations then because I have a ton of screenshots I take every day, but not enough time after work to put them together

And I do space them a bit so I have something to post everyday. Also, that way they're nearer the airing date since it will be sometimes weeks (or even months) until those episodes air.

I was looking out for that sign but for the Fairburn casting call location. I wish there was a more precise way to find the location, as I'vebeen driving around the town trying to find the sign (if that's possible).

Uhm... no clue, to be honest.

But I know that you have to be registered with Central Casting Georgia that handles the background actors casting for MacGyver (and other shows like "The Resident").

re: the studio location of the sets. Even if you find it, you're probably not going to get in without prior arraignment. Production studios are pretty tight with their security, which isn't surprising considering they have literally millions of dollars worth of equipment sitting in them.

They seem to spend most of their time on location anyway so you'd have a pretty good chance of catching them filming somewhere around.

I did find the studio location (I got there after sunset). As I thought you're not able to see much from the street.

I did see personal trailer going in, which let me know I was in the right place.
