That's quite old and it has got nothing to do with MacGyver if I'm not mistaken. But they did have some sort of toyline in Germany with the same cover. Just like Japan had Legend of the Holy Rose on VHS, but it was only there available.
I think the poison that was used was applied to this knife, passed to the mutton when it was cut and then activated by the wine. - MacGyver. Sometimes you just have to die a little inside to be reborn and rise again as a stronger and wiser version of you. It's better to be a little sad than to be fake content.

I don't think that music on that cd had to do much with the actual music of the score. It is just that one more thing that would make everything I want from MacGyver complete. A complete score of every season and the tv-movies.
Bill Conti's score of North & South was released a couple of years ago and that was like a 7 disc release which contained about 98% of all music.
Also Xena Warrior Princess had it's score released with most of the music from the show with season 1, 2, 4 and 6 containing over 20 to nearly 30 tracks each. Season 6 was released on two discs.
If they only released Dennis', Randy's, Ken's and William's score out. Seriously, who wouldn't want to have the chase music from Three For The Road or Randy's Lost Love score or Ken Harrison's Serenity, Passages, Lost Treasure of Atlantis or William Ross' music for Lesson In Evil or Blind Faith? That would just be so cool.

CD's real enough but I seriously doubt if those songs has got anything to do with the show. It just has a couple of remixes of the theme but the other tracks are just songs that never appeared in the show.
The Mafia is Everywhere? Punch Punch? My Delicious Body? New York City Blues? Countdown in Las Vegas? Punch Love Me?
MacGyver has never been to NY or Vegas in the show. It sounds 80's and it is an official release (in Germany) but besides 3 remixes of the theme in which a dude says his name is MacGyver, (which you can listen on our soundtrack page) none of these songs come from the show and are not composed by Dennis McCarthy, Randy Edelman, Ken Harrison or William Ross. These are just synths mixes.
If I want music from the show I want the theme, escape music, fight music, chase music, bomb defusal music... Not remixes or songs that hasn't got anything to do with the show.

Oh interesting - do you know what this digital track on amazon is I found? The preview sounds show music-y... but it seems weird there is just one track, and doesn't seem like an official album?

I would say it's music inspired by the show, which is a perfectly legitimate claim.. There may also bee something lost in translation either between the song title German to English of possibly the German episode titles being different to the English ones - this happens even with the reboot. Mwah... I was more like thinking along the lines of Beverly Hills Cop or Cobra. Something deep and forgotten from the 80's. To me besides those three remixes it's got nothing to do with it, but that's me. With recent happenings: the reboot, the Blu-ray HD release, the comic, if they would just release the scores that would really be the icing on the cake: disarming the rocket in the Pilot, the lavapit escape, the pendelum escape, the jungle escape in On A Wing and a Prayer and so many other great pieces... If you have the score maybe you can get more that Mac-feel when writing fanfiction, it would be a dream come true.
