Did anyone see the biography of Teri Hatcher on the Biography channel? I watched it mainly to see what they'd say about her role as Penny Parker. It just got a fairly brief mention, and all the shots they showed of her as Penny were of when she was dressed up as Cleopatra ("Cleo Rocks"). Odd choice, I think.

I also thought it was odd that they said something like, "Although MacGyver wasn't a long running series, it lasted a few seasons, and it was enough to get Teri recognized." I know plenty of shows have lasted longer than 7 years, but the way they said it really made it sound like it was only on the air for 2 or 3 years.

The only other thing they mentioned was about how Teri and RDA dated.

I saw that and it always ticked me off. MacGyver lasted 7!!!! seasons. That makes it a major success besides him being a household name. I think whoever wrote that bio didn't know what they were talking about. Both have also stated that they were just friends and went to a function or two as friends. Someone at Bio didn't check their facts.

Wow yeah, that's some REALLY BAD research.

Someone needs to write them and tell them to get their damn facts right!

The bio says they did, Mac Jackson says they didn't, and Rocketeer says they did. I'm confused. I think I remember Teri saying in TV guide that they were just friends, though.

Yeah from what I've read and heard, there was more than just an occasional function attending going on. In fact, if memory serves me correctly I'm sure there has been mention that Teri got the Penny Parker role, or at least got to audition for it because she was dating RDA at the time?

From what I've learned over the years he was the type of guy who wasn't in ahurry to settle down and, like MacGyver, was afraid to commit. He's grown up since and wants to find the right one but ha yet to do so. Also, a few of theose women were a little nuts or witchy Hatcher included. Thanks for the link:)

LOL! Exactly! I've heard various people, like Dean Cain, talk about what a horrible person she was. RDA seems to be too much of a gentleman to say such things. Taking the hight road and such:) When they talk about the ego problems on Des Housewives I know who started it:)
