Blacks started as a family business in 1946 and grew to a nation wide chain of 200 stores. They sold the business in 1985 and was sold again two more times, eventually ending up being owned by Telus Canada who were forced to closed all stores in 2015 sighting the world-wide shift to the use of smartphones and digital storage as the reason. The company was then acquired by Canadian-based company ‘Les Pros de la Photo’ who moved the business to an online photo printing service which has since become Canada’s leading online photo printing service.
The mall is a multi-level mall which has had a lot of store changes since this episode was filmed which makes it hard to even work out exactly where the scene was even filmed.
