This full series HD bluray box-set consists of individually packaged seasons and uses the original cover art from the old DVD sets.
Picture quality for the episodes is full HD remastered from the original film stock. The two movies are in Standard Definition but appear to still be better quality than the DVD copies of the show.
Each season consists of standard pressed Blu-ray discs housed securely in hinged double-sided “pages” via the normal hub clip method. Each disk has it’s episodes listed on the label along with the season it belongs to. The movies are on a separate disc located at the back of the season 7 case.
Season 1 is the only set with subtitles for English, French and German. None of the other seasons contain subtitles.
Season 6 episodes “Twenty Questions”, “The Wall”, “The Gun” and “Harry’s Will” all have textless and soundless versions of the opening and closing credits at the end of the episode. These allow you to see the credits without the overlayed text of Richard and Dana’s names and the various other credits – including the title on the explosion. You also get the same with the closing freeze-frames which usually have all the cast and crew credits overlayed at the end of episodes.
