Leanna Martin

A temporary member of Team Phoenix and ex-girlfriend of Wilt Bozer (Justin Hires).

Season 2
In Episode 2×08 (Packing Peanuts + Fire), Bozer is sent to an Operative Training Center. He’s instantly interested in classmate Leanna Martin (Reign Edwards). She proves her interrogation skills by winning the interrogation contest against Bozer; forcing him to recall a personal tragedy from his childhood. Afterward, Bozer wants to quit, but Leanna convinces him to continue his training.

Although forbidden, Leanna and Bozer start a romantic relationship after the training ended. In the Season 2 Finale, Leanna is hired by Matty Webber (Meredith Eaton) for the Phoenix Foundation. Of course, Matty already knows about the two dating. Every now and then, Leanna joins the team on field and undercover missions.

Season 3
In Episode 3×11 (Mac + Fallout + Jack), Bozer asks Leanna to move in with him; surprising her by showing her the apartment he already chose for them. She first answers yes, but then feels unsure about it since this is a “big step”.

Season 4
After the events in the Season 3 Finale Episode 3×22 (Mason + Cable + Choices), the Phoenix Foundation was disbanded and the team members were stripped of their high-level clearances. In Episode 4×02 (Red Cell + Quantum + Cold + Committed), it’s mentioned that Bozer lost Leanna to a deep-cover operation. Their relationship status remains unclear, though over the course of the season, it seems like they have broken up for good.

Season 5
As it turns out in Episode 5×10 (Diamond + Quake + Carbon + Comms + Tower), robot Sparky was hacked by Murdoc (David Dastmalchian) to spy on Team Phoenix for months. Murdoc uses his knowledge to taunt Team Phoenix; trying to make them distrust each other. Bozer learns that Leanna died in a CIA deep-cover op half a year ago and that Russ Taylor (Henry Ian Cusick) kept the information from him because he didn’t think Bozer could handle it.

Deleted Scenes
In a deleted scene of Episode 3×11 (Mac + Fallout + Jack), Bozer preps the apartment he had planned to move in with Leanna; waiting for her arrival to enjoy some cozy time together. Instead, it’s Matty arriving, handing Bozer a phone and advising him to make a “last” phone call with Leanna. As it turns out, Leanna was just appointed to continue the undercover mission that Matty’s ex-husband Ethan Raines (Brendan Hines) previously had been assigned to; taking his place in the S-Company.
