North Africa

MacGyver first visited North Africa when he was sent to retrieve an expensive stolen horse from its thieves.

He returned a second time to help break a missionary out of a local prison who turned out to be an arms dealer.

Notes:  In both episodes, the country is never mentioned. but in a flashback of the horse scene in the Friends episode, Jack Dalton refers to the location of this assignment as North Africa and in The Escape the location is identified as North Africa in MacGyver’s voiceover.
