MacGyver escaped into Mexico with Kate Connelly after being caught taking photos of Dave Ryerson and Antonio Vasquez meeting to seal an arms deal Ryerson had brokered with Vasquez who had plans to overthrow the government of San Sebastian.
MacGyver and Connelly were able to evade Vasquez’s military police and eventually make their escape to Mexico taking the photographic evidence of Vasquez and Ryerson’s plans with them.
