MacGyver and Pete Thornton flew into this undisclosed location on a mercy mission to get Pete’s friend, Sister Margaret, safely out of the country after a military regime had taken control. 

The sister was running an orphanage in a small village area being targeted by the regime and was on their death list after she saved a man from being beaten to death by covering him with her own body. 

MacGyver and Pete were able to successfully located and extract the sister and the orphan children but MacGyver and Margaret’s helper, Deborah were left behind due to the chopper being damaged by military fire as it took off, leaving Mac and Deborah to try to avoid being caught while waiting for Pete to return to pick them up.
