Originally owned by his Grandpa Harry, the two-toned yellow and brown 1946 Chevy Pickup was passed down to MacGyver and became his main means of transport for season 5 and part of 6.
The truck has a 2 door cab that can fit 3 people comfortably across its bench seat but because of lack of the space, there is a lockable wooden chest attached to the decking behind the cab. Other than this little modification the truck is presented as original.
Note: In ‘Target MacGyver’ the truck Harry drives is a black Dodge pickup. We can only assume that this is supposed to be the same truck but changed for production reasons.
