Turk

Turk was part of Terry Andrews’ team which planned to escape with $8,211,600 stolen from an armored car hijacked in Dallas.

Turk and Elias had commandeered the Lonestar Armored Car in Dallas and transported it via Trans Allied Van Lines moving truck to the Sparrow Ridge Airport where Terry Andrews and Buddy had taken over the airport and were holding Kelly Nielson, Dave Redding, and Al Tennyson hostage while they awaited the arrival of a chartered plane which they intended to hijack for their escape to Mexico with the stolen money.

Brash, arrogant, and talkative, Turk bragged “I got it all,” although he usually found himself assigned to guard duty. He was ordered to watch MacGyver and Dave as they were forced to dig a grave for the murdered security guard from the armored car, and he also had to keep an eye on MacGyver and Kelly when they went to locate spare plane parts until MacGyver used one of those parts as a “lateral cranial impact enhancer” to knock him out with a blow to the head.

MacGyver stumbled into the hostage situation when he stopped to ask for directions, and he was forced to join the hostages where he was able to help calm the situation while figuring out a way to stop the criminals. When MacGyver knocked out Turk and Elias, Andrews realized that his plan was falling apart, and he and Buddy attempted to escape in the airplane, leaving the others behind. However, MacGyver prevented the plane from taking off and apprehended Andrews and his team, holding them in custody until authorities could arrive.
