Colonel Keel

Colonel Keel was handling the military response to the explosion at KIVA Laboratories in Bannon, New Mexico. He met and escorted Ed Gantner and MacGyver to the control room when they first arrived at the complex before returning to his role of leading the team preparing to flood the complex with sodium hydroxide and fire a missile to destroy the underground complex and fuse the rock to stop the acid leaking into the aquafer below.

Keel was responsible for giving the order to fire the missile once he had clearance from facility director Charlie Burke. He also gave the abort order after MacGyver had signaled that he had stopped the acid leak.
