Walt

A licensed pilot often chartered for flying trips to Mexico out of the Sparrow Ridge Airport, a small desert airstrip in Arizona owned and operated by Kelly Nielson and Dave Redding.

Walt flew a Beechcraft Baron 4-seater twin engine plane for his chartered flights, which he was expecting when he arrived at the airport. He had radioed ahead to report an electrical short in the trim control, but he expected that repairs could be made before departing again. When he arrived, however, he quickly found that the airport had been taken over by Terry Andrews and his team who had taken Kelly, Dave and Al hostage. He and Dave were forced to repair the plane while the others loaded their gear and the money ready to depart as soon as the plane was fixed.

However, while Dave and Walt were repairing the plane MacGyver was able to put a plan into action which ultimately, with the help of Dave, stopped the thieves from escaping and apprehended them until police could arrive.
