Polk

Polk was one of two men hired by Barrett on behalf of East German Intelligence Colonel, Kurt Neilson, to help him recover a microfilm list MacGyver had obtained and brought back for the DXS.

He was pivotal in the initial capture of MacGyver at the docks where, dressed as a police officer, he was approached by MacGyver to report the men chasing him and when MacGyver turned to point them out, Polk “karate chopped” MacGyver in the neck and knocked him out.

Polk’s noise was broken when MacGyver escaped from them after being injected with a poison serum. Despite the injury is was still able to continue the search for MacGyver.

MacGyver eventually got the better of Polk and Barrett when he returned to the warehouse and set up a trap to knock a pile of barrels onto the the men giving him enough time to knock both of them out before taking on Neilson and eventually besting him to get the antidote to the serum he’d been injected with.

Polk and the others were subsequently taken into custody by Pete Thornton and the DXS, who had arrived after Lisa had called them earlier on MacGyver’s orders.
